Matt Johnson

Witness & Evangelism

Matt is the Pastor of Witness and Evangelism of Five Points across the community and the world. He graduated from Rochester HS in '94 and from WMU in '98. Following graduation Matt, and his wife Kieve, served as missionaries at Camp Barakel for 5 years. In January 2004, Matt was called to serve on the staff at Five Points. He considers his mentors to be his godly parents and several significant men that God brought into his life during their years at Barakel. Matt has been blessed with a wife that comes alongside ministering effectively to the women of Five Points. Matt and Kieve have four beautiful children that they treasure dearly.

JJ Sherwood

Minisry Administration & Student Ministries

JJ has been the Pastor of Student Ministries at Five Points since May 2006. Before that he was a student ministries pastor in Grand Rapids, MI for over 2 years and graduated from both Cornerstone University in 2002 and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he completed his Masters of Divinity in 2008. He was ordained through Five Points in August 2007. JJ and his wife Becky have been married since 2002 and are the proud parents of Grace and Norah. He loves Jesus and drinking coffee!
