Five Points Community Church hosted a morning of “proclaiming God’s glorious design for men and women.”
In our society, there exists a widespread compromise of a biblical understanding of manhood and womanhood. This compromise has caused tragic effects, not only in the secular culture, but also in our churches and in our homes. We believe that what stands at the center of this compromise is a disregard for the authority, clarity and integrity of the Bible. This conference seeks to address that disregard by presenting a thoroughly biblical view of what it means to be male and female.
Our speakers that morning were Dr. Russell Moore and Carolyn McCulley.
Dr. Moore is the Dean of the School of Theology and Senior Vice-President for Academic Administration at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, preaching pastor at Highview Baptist Church’s Fegenbush campus and author of The Kingdom of Christ and Adopted for Life.
Carolyn McCulley is founder of Citygate Films and author of two books, Radical Womanhood and Did I Kiss Marriage Goodbye?
